Built for Little Ones

We know how important it is for toddlers to explore and play in an environment made just for them.

Toddlers playing in a safe zone
Ages 1–3

At SkyTag, we created the Toddler Zone with one goal in mind: a completely dedicated, safe play space for children aged 1 to 3 years old. This area is entirely separate from the regular trampoline sections, so your little one can explore freely at their own pace.

Medical guidelines and pediatric safety organizations are clear — trampolines are not recommended for children under 3 years of age, as their muscles and motor skills are still developing. That's why we built a space specifically designed to match where toddlers are, physically and developmentally.

Soft structures, age-appropriate play elements, and a calm, dedicated environment make the Toddler Zone the perfect place for your child's first SkyTag experience. Parents are required to accompany and stay with their child throughout the visit — it's a shared adventure!

Safety First

Why Under 3 & Trampolines Don't Mix

Pediatric and sports medicine experts consistently advise that children under 3 years old should not use standard trampolines. At this age, muscle development, bone density, and motor coordination are still maturing — making the risk of injury significantly higher on regular trampoline surfaces.

  • Underdeveloped core and leg muscles increase fall risk
  • Soft bones are more vulnerable to fractures from impact
  • Limited motor control makes safe landing unpredictable
  • The Toddler Zone was created precisely with these facts in mind

Parent Responsibility Notice

The Toddler Zone is designed for children aged 1–3. Parents who choose to bring children under 1 year of age, or who wish to use regular trampoline areas with children under 3, do so against SkyTag's recommendations.

  • SkyTag strongly discourages use of regular trampolines by children under 3
  • Parents who proceed against this recommendation assume full responsibility for their child's safety
  • All guests must sign our standard waiver prior to participation
  • Our staff reserves the right to refuse access for safety reasons

Waiver & Parental Responsibility

All parents and guardians must complete and sign SkyTag's liability waiver before entering any activity area, including the Toddler Zone. By signing, parents acknowledge the physical nature of play activities and accept responsibility for ensuring their child participates safely and within the guidelines provided. Parents who allow children under 3 to access the regular trampoline areas — against SkyTag's explicit recommendation — take full personal responsibility for any resulting incidents.

Frequently Asked

What age is the Toddler Zone for?
The Toddler Zone is designed for children aged 1 to 3 years old. This age range was chosen based on developmental guidelines — children in this stage benefit from soft, age-appropriate play structures rather than regular trampolines.
Do I need to stay with my child the entire time?
Yes — parents are required to accompany their child and remain in the Toddler Zone for the full duration of the visit. This is a shared experience, and your presence is both a safety requirement and part of the fun!
Can my child under 3 use the regular trampolines?
SkyTag strongly recommends against children under 3 using the regular trampoline areas. Their muscles and motor development are still maturing, which significantly increases injury risk on standard trampolines. Parents who proceed against this recommendation do so at their own risk and must accept full responsibility.
Is the Toddler Zone physically separate from the trampolines?
Yes, completely. The Toddler Zone is a fully enclosed, dedicated space that is entirely separate from all regular trampoline sections. Your toddler will have their own safe environment without any interaction with older children or regular jump areas.
Do we need to sign a waiver for the Toddler Zone?
Yes. All guests — including those visiting the Toddler Zone — must complete SkyTag's standard waiver at check-in. For children, the waiver is completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Can I book the Toddler Zone for a birthday party?
Absolutely! We offer birthday party options that include access to the Toddler Zone for your little one and their guests. Contact our team at info@skytag.ca or call us to learn about our toddler birthday party packages.
Do grip socks apply in the Toddler Zone too?
Yes, all participants inside any activity area at SkyTag — including the Toddler Zone — must wear grip socks. This includes parents. Grip socks are available to purchase at reception if needed.
